Greg Wilson to lead ECT’s Water Resources Division

Tampa-based leader to continue growth and expansion

June 18, 2024 (Tampa) – Environmental Consulting & Technology, Inc. (ECT) hired Greg Wilson to lead the firm’s national water resources practice, positioning ECT for continued growth across markets in the Central and Eastern US. His successful history across geographic markets, water infrastructure landscapes, and public-sector engagements is an asset to this growing and evolving division.

“Greg’s leadership skills and collaborative approach bring value to this critical area of our business as well as our executive team,” said Chief Operating Officer Tom Hazlett. “With a proven approach to organizational growth and expansion, Greg will ensure our team and expertise evolve with client and market needs.”

As a water infrastructure executive, Greg will lead water resources scientists, engineers, and related technical professionals working primarily in the Midwest, Great Lakes, and Southeast. He will be responsible for overall consulting and financial performance. His career expertise includes fiscal management, project management, strategic leadership, operations, business development, and mentorship.

Greg’s career has included management and leadership roles in the public sector, large-scale consulting firms, and niche, regional firms. His industry diversity positions him to support the firm’s ongoing growth, particularly in the areas of ecosystem restoration, water infrastructure, water quality, and associated regulatory and funding arenas.

Located in Tampa, Greg will join ECT’s largest office and one of its most robust markets with a continued focus on serving municipal and regional entities, power generation and transmission clients, local and regional utilities, as well as land development and industrial sector clients.

Greg holds a master’s degree in public management (MPM), as well as a bachelor’s degree from Virigina State University, and a certificate in strategy execution from Harvard Business School. He is a former U.S. Army Officer, having served in multiple global assignments.
