Eric Schwiderson promoted to Managing Director, Compliance & Sustainability

January 6, 2025 – Environmental Consulting & Technology, Inc. (ECT) announces the promotion of Eric Schwiderson to Managing Director of the firm’s compliance & sustainability service line. With more than 15 years of tenure with the organization, Eric has grown and evolved the firm’s Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and compliance practices specifically within the manufacturing sectors of the Midwest and Southeast, as well as with industry leading power and energy clientele.

“Eric is trusted by his team and his clients because of his commitment to their needs and to quality consulting,” said COO Tom Hazlett. “I look forward to watching him expand his positive impact and outcomes in the managing director role.”

Working from the firm’s Bay City, Michigan location, Eric leads a national team focused on compliance, air quality, environmental health & safety, and emissions and waste reduction efforts across numerous sectors. Prior to starting his career with ECT, he graduated from Michigan Technological University with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Engineering. In addition to being active with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), he also serves on numerous boards for organizations in his community and enjoys coaching and supporting his kids’ sports activities.
