ECT Project Manager Jessica Miller and ECT’s Ben Schuplin, PWS, provided preconstruction ecological and environmental survey support, including wetland delineations, siting, threatened and endangered species surveys, Phase I and II environmental site assessments, cultural studies, and state and federal permitting to help this project become a success.
“Once construction is complete in late 2019, this project is expected to power more than 17,000 homes via 275,000 solar panels,” Miller said. “The Lily Solar Project is one of the largest constructed in the eastern United States this year. It will employ hundreds of workers, many of whom are local, and provide a boost to the local economy.”
Ms. Miller is the senior Natural Resources manager for the Midwest and is currently assisting NARENCO on future solar projects in the Carolinas.
