Environmental Compliance Audits Safeguard Mission-Critical Data Centers Nationwide
Data Center Compliance Audit Portfolio
Nationwide, United States
ECT supported a global financial services organization in a portfolio-wide environmental compliance audit across mission-critical data centers at four locations across the nation. Each facility plays a key role in the client’s financial transaction infrastructure, and the program’s goal was to verify full environmental regulatory compliance across all locations.
ECT conducted comprehensive audits assessing air emissions, petroleum management, spill prevention, and waste handling practices. The team evaluated emergency generator permitting and aboveground diesel storage tank registration, confirming compliance with Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) requirements and state air permitting standards. At one of the locations, ECT completed follow-up inspections and integrity testing for SPCC-covered tanks as well. The audit team also evaluated the client’s applicability and compliance obligations under federal, state, and local water, wastewater, and stormwater regulations.
Similar efforts confirmed air permitting and registration needs through multiple state environmental protection agencies. ECT delivered detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and corrective actions, and continues to support the client with follow-up inspections, air permitting, and compliance training.
This portfolio highlights ECT’s ability to deliver consistent, high-quality audits for mission-critical infrastructure, helping global clients manage environmental risk and maintain uninterrupted operations.
