NFWF National Programs Field Liaisons

The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF), established by Congress in 1984, is now the largest conservation foundation in the United States. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, NFWF has leveraged over $11.3 billion for conservation initiatives, partnering with both private and public organizations to preserve, restore, and improve the nation’s fish, wildlife, plant life, and habitats for present and future generations. The National Programs Team at NFWF manages a diverse portfolio of nationwide conservation grants, such as America’s Ecosystem Restoration Initiative (AERI), to restore habitat, protect imperiled species, promote meaningful engagement, help build technical capacity, and support community and environmental resilience.

Environmental Consulting & Technology, Inc. (ECT) and its partner, Whitetail Environmental, LLC, provide a nationally distributed Field Liaison Team that supports NFWF’s National Programs Team, applicants, and grantees. Our field liaisons serve as an additional resource to grantees, assisting with grant administration, project delivery and troubleshooting, as well as working with the grantees and NFWF to promote project successes and lessons learned. For applicants, our liaisons create program webinars, host proposal labs, and provide support throughout the application process.
