As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, NFWF has leveraged over $11.3 billion for conservation initiatives, partnering with both private and public organizations to preserve, restore, and improve the nation’s fish, wildlife, plant life, and habitats for present and future generations. The National Programs Team at NFWF manages a diverse portfolio of nationwide conservation grants, such as **[America’s Ecosystem Restoration Initiative (AERI)](https://www.nfwf.org/programs/americas-ecosystem-restoration-initiative),** to restore habitat, protect imperiled species, promote meaningful engagement, help build technical capacity, and support community and environmental resilience. For applicants, our liaisons create program webinars, host proposal labs, and provide support throughout the application process.
