ECT would like to congratulate our client, Chicago Public Schools (CPS), and their partners, Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRDGC), Chicago Department of Water Management (CDWM), Openlands, and Healthy Schools Campaign on beginning construction on two of the latest Space to Grow projects, The John Barry Elementary School and Genevieve Melody Elementary School.

ECT was contracted to provide design services for both projects, which began construction this summer.

“We are honored to be part of these projects and the Space to Grow program,” stated ECT’s Project Manager Jonathan Lawrence and Project Director Tom Price.

The renderings below show before and after images of the proposed improvements (rendering Credit, Ry’yan Clark with ECT).

Ry’yan created these graphics to communicate ECT’s integrated landscape architecture and civil engineering design. These two schools are part of Chicago Public Schools’ (CPS) Space to Grow: Greening Chicago Schoolyards program.  Tom Price (Project Director) and Jonathan Lawrence (Project Manager) from ECT’s Lombard office are leading the firm’s efforts on this project.
