As interim president, Westerby will continue to lead the natural resources service line while supporting the firm’s leadership transition, including defining and executing on the plan to identify and name a long-term president for the organization.
“I am honored and eager to get to work on this exciting challenge on behalf of our outstanding employees, dynamic clients and existing leadership team,” said Westerby. “Our first order of business is ensuring continued service to the business and our clients during the initial transition.”
Westerby has more than 20 years of experience in the natural resource strategy and management arena, working across energy sectors such as renewable, transmission, oil and gas and utilities, as well as deep expertise in the land development and commercial real estate sectors. For the last decade, she has been leading large-scale teams and projects for some of the world’s largest energy and development organizations. She is a professional wetland scientist with a master’s degree in environmental science and a bachelor’s degree in biology.
